Motion studies are useful for helping to communicate user flows to Product, Engineering and other teams. They can also serve as interaction design studies.
This start up needed a brand exploration using their logo. Working with one of the Creative Directors at Addis in Berkeley, I came up with a motion study imagining the various ways the logo could morph into symbols related to their vision of an infrastructure for charging electric vehicles across the US.
This advertising agency needed motion graphics to convey the functionality of their mobile website. I was brought in to create motion studies of the flow of the Venables mobile website. Working with the Director of User Experience, I created a series of animations in After Effects to explore potential interactions and transitions.
